Justin Bonomo still selling shares for One Drop
The winner of the EPT Grand Finals €100K Super High Roller still hasn't bought his ticket for the One Drop.
Justin "ZeeJustin" Bonomo is known and respected as one of the world's best NLHE cash games players - and on top of that the 26-year-old has also made quite a lot of money in his time playing poker.
The last he hit the jackpot was at the EPT Grand Final where he won the €100K Super High Roller and finished 4th in the €25K High Roller. That brought him a combined €1,906,000.
If you think that gives him confidence enough to put down a million dollars for the One Drop - then you're mistaken:
"I think I'm gonna play. A lot of people have given me maybe's, which is frustrating coz we're getting so close. Depending on the maybe's I've sold between 60 and 90% so I still have a little bit to sell - no matter what. But I think I can pull it off," said Bonomo to PokerNews.com
Bonomo's three biggest tournament results all came in so-called high roller events, is that because it's a format that suits him well?
"Since I'm selling action I should probably lie and say I'm like soul reading these people. But I've played four 100K tournaments, and yeah, I finished 6th or better in all four of them, but like it's four multi-table sit'n'go´s. They're not super deep field. It's not a big sample size. I do think I do well deep stacked against those types of players but on the other hand it's only four tournaments and you can't make any conclusions based on that," said Bonomo.
If this sales pitch convinced you - better get a hold of Bonomo. The Big One for One Drop is played from the 1st of July to the 3rd of July.
