Swedish super star Victor "Isildur1" Blom gets off to a great start at the PokerStars SCOOP series as he wins "Event #2-M"

Monday night was a pleasant one for "Isildur1". He took home a nice $250,000 by winning the #2-M.

On the way to the title he beat Danish tournament shark Frederik Brink, winner of the 2012 EPT Madrid.

With 4 players left the two Scandinavians went up against each other - here is how it went down:

Blinds are 200,000/400,000 with a 50,000 ante and Brink (11,699,469) makes it 800,000 from first position. Fold from 'szwindel' (25,233,150) and then Viktor Blom (33,897,100) raises to 1,925,000. 'RaisingRay91' (11,570,281) folds. Back to Frederik Brink, who 4-bets to 3,276,333. Blom shoves all-in and Brink pays holding:

Blom is behind with:

Two queens on the flop makes it seem impossible for Brink. Jack on the turn offers a way out, but river is no good and Blom takes a commanding lead he would not relinquish on his way to victory.

Said Brink on Facebook afterwards:

"…would have liked to hold through against Blom with AK vs AQ for the chip lead :( But what the heck ok payday after all.

Final standings ( 8,240 players @ $200+15):

1. Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom $247.200
