Things have not gone Phil "MrSweets28" Galfond's way lately. Sunday was particularly rough as he lost more than $300K.

Phil Galfond has made a lot of money playing poker, but as is the case with all PLO players he has not been spared the swings. The Canadian-based American won more than $1,200,000 in the beginning of March and since then it was almost just a matter of time before a downswing would hit him.

And it came Sunday night and lasted 8 hours. During that timespan "MrSweets28" lost almost everything he touched. He lost playing $25/$50 and $50/$100 - and he lost even more when he played $100/$200.

According to HighstakesDB the session ended costing him $301,181.

Not to worry about Mr. Galfond though: He is still up by more than half a million dollars for the year - so rent money should be covered.

While Galfond is topping the charts concerning recent losses - ahead of Jens Kyllönen and Victor "Isildur1" Blom - the biggest winners of the last 24 hours are Ben "milkybarkid" Grundy ( +$96,862 )l, ari 'Ilari FIN' Sahamies ( +$137,350 ) and Australian David 'Deldar182' Eldar with ( +$268,114 )
