New strategy behind Titan Poker's NoProApproach

Titan Poker has said goodbye to all their pro's. When Trickett and Rettenmaier walked out the door these past two weeks people thought it was because of a strained economy. Not the case says Titan!

Earlier last week we brought the stories of Sam Trickett and Marvin Rettenmaier leaving Titan Poker. That left Titan without a single pro on their roster. Many people - us included - wondered if this move was caused by a strained economy.

We've seen many "smaller" sites go out of business lately so it seemed like an obvious concern to raise. Saturday Titan Poker released a press statement to ease those fears - and perhaps to keep players from withdrawing their funds: 

"From our side, we are pursuing a new branding strategy which moves away from focusing on a pro team and emphasizes our appeal to main stream and recreational poker players," writes Titan Poker on their website.
