Online qualifiers settle the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo.
American tournament shark Mohsin "Chicagocards1" Charania picked up €1,350,000 at the cashiers at the Monte Carlo Bay Resort & Hotel by winning the EPT Grand Final Main Event.
It's called the European Poker Tour but that doesn't keep players from the world's other continents from turning up.
And this season's finale was no different: 665 players from 54 different countries each put down the required €10,600 - either by cash or by qualifying through PokerStars online.
The latter method - online qualification via €33 satellite - was how Mohsin Charania got the seat in Monte Carlo - and despite starting the final day in 5th position he still managed to win.
Heads-up he beat Lucille Cailly to take home €1,350,000. Lucille - another online qualifier - got €1,050,000 for her 2nd place finish.
