After a couple of days rest the Canadian-based American got back to the virtual file to try to recoup some of what was lost.
It paid off - big time!
$400,000! Yup - he took home FOUR HUNDRED thou in a super session!
Most of the 3,124 hands played by "MrSweets28" were played on $100/$200 PLO tables, the rest were played on $25/$50 and $50/$100 - and he even put in some time on NLHE $100/$200.
That gives Phil Galfond a total profit for 2012 of $1,020,617. That makes him 3rd on the 2012 money list. A list headlined by another PLO shark, Jens "Jeans89" Kyllönen of Finland.
