Ivey and Hellmuth ready for WSOP final!
Two of the best poker players ever will square up tonight when they meet in the final of WSOP Event #15 ($5,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split-8 or Better)
For the second time at this year's WSOP Phil Ivey is in the money - and with the 6th biggest stack of the remaining 19 players there's a good chance that Ivey will expand his collection of WSOP bracelets.
The discipline is called Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split-8 or Better - and 212 players paid the required $5,000 to register.
If Phil Ivey is to claim his 9th WSOP bracelet he'll have to defeat a tough field of opponents. With the 2nd biggest stack we find American John Monnette, who got his 2nd bracelet a couple of days ago when he won a Stud-event.
And then there's also Phil Hellmuth, winner of 11 WSOP bracelets. He'll certainly do his best to claim his first WSOP since 2007 - especially coming off last year when he had to settle for three second-places.
Still left we also have Eli Elezra, EPT Loutraki-winner Zimnan Ziyard, Todd Brunson and Bryn Kenney.
