Former EPT Warszawa winner Christophe Benzimra wins tournament buy-ins for €35,000 in free roll at the Tournament of Champions season finale in Monte Carlo.
With typical buy-ins priced between €5,000 and €10,000 it can quickly get expensive to travel around Europe searching for EPT glory.
One player doesn't have that to worry about in the foreseeable future: Christophe Benzimra of France just got €35,000 worth of entries for the EPT 2012-13 season.
By winning the Tournament of Champions Free Roll in Monte Carlo the 49-year-old businessman has more than enough to cover a few entries.
"It feels fantastic! I'm very happy," said Benzimra afterwards. "I haven't been playing much this season but I will be next season."
The biggest cash of Benzimra's career came in 2009 when he took home €400,000 by winning EPT Warszawa. We'll be seeing a lot more of him next season!
Final results:
1. Christophe Benzimra (EPT Warszawa) €35.000
2. Zimnan Ziyard (EPT Loutraki) €25.000
3. Jake Cody (EPT Deauville) €17.500
