Russian Igor Kurganov was too big of a mouthful for Daniel Negreanu when they met heads-up at the EPT Grand Final €25K High Roller.
Justin Bonomo who was a big chip leader before the start of the final table, didn't get to play a significant role at the high roller event. He was knocked out in fourth place by Daniel Negreanu.
Negreanu made it all the way to the final - heads-up against Igor Kurganov.

So for the second time during the EPT Grand Final Negreanu had to leave a high roller final table without victory. The second place finish netted him €600,000 while Kurganov got to take €1,080,000 back to Russia.
